My
Story

Get to Know Me

I am a regular Millennial with a job, bills and responsibilities. Feeling that my decision has been determined by the ever changing society. However, at some point I realized I was lost. Traveling used to be my passion, my way to connect with myself, but because of how life is hitting all of the struggling millennials out there, I stopped. I left my dreams and passions on a shelf to be able to keep up with life. This blog is an attempt to get back, and be faithful to who I am, and what I love.

Paris, France - My best memories

Paris, the City of Light!

Exudes timeless charm, art

istic brilliance, and a rich history that captivates travelers from around the globe. This enchanting metropolis is a melting pot of culture, fashion, gastronomy, and romance, making it one of the world's most sought-after destinations.

But did you know about its Tennis History? A Love Affair with the Sport

Paris holds a special place in the hearts of tennis enthusiasts worldwide. It has witnessed numerous iconic moments in the sport's history. From legendary matches at the French Open to the birth of tennis fashion trends, the city has left an indelible mark on the tennis world.

The Importance of Roland Garros: The Crown Jewel of Clay Court Tennis

Roland Garros, named after the French aviator and World War I hero, is a tennis sanctuary that hosts one of the four Grand Slam tournaments. This clay court spectacle draws the world's top players and passionate fans to witness epic battles and showcase remarkable sportsmanship. The unique red clay surface adds an extra layer of challenge, turning matches into riveting displays of skill and endurance.

To discover the city you can do it by foot, train, metro, bus, or my absolute favorite - Batobus Services: The Seine River Cruise Experience

To savor the city's beauty from a different perspective, Batobus offers a convenient and scenic mode of transportation. This hop-on-hop-off boat service glides along the Seine River, stopping at iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and Notre-Dame Cathedral. Enjoy breathtaking views of the city's architecture and absorb the romantic ambiance while cruising through the heart of Paris listening to the background tunes played by a melancholic accordion.

I would highly recommend to start and finish your Bato-Bus ride at The Eiffel Tower station, just because it is a Majestic Icon.

As the afternoon unfolds, make your way towards the iconic Eiffel Tower. Its towering presence is breathtaking, and the experience is just as magical from afar. Capture photos with the iconic landmark in the background, as the sun casts a warm glow on its intricate iron lattice. For a truly memorable experience, consider visiting during the golden hour as the sun sets, bathing the Eiffel Tower in a captivating light display.

One of my absolutely favorite journeys was talking Public Transportation to Basilica of Sacré-Cœur: A Journey to Spiritual Tranquility

For those seeking a serene escape, the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur awaits atop Montmartre Hill. Accessible via public transportation, take Line 2 of the Paris Metro to the Anvers station, and from there, enjoy a pleasant stroll to this sacred sanctuary. The basilica's pristine white domes and panoramic views of Paris create a serene ambiance, offering a haven of tranquility amidst the city's hustle and bustle.

Of course Paris has many iconic landmarks and charming landscapes. While there might not be enough time to explore the Louvre's treasures, a leisurely visit to its gardens sets the stage for an unforgettable experience.Do not forget the iconic walk down the famous Champs-Élysées, cannot be missed.

Louvre Gardens can be a Serene Oasis. Stepping into the Louvre Gardens, the bustling city fades away, replaced by tranquility and beauty. Stroll along the tree-lined paths, where sculptures and fountains add an artistic touch to the landscape. Find a quiet bench to savor the moment, or lay out a picnic blanket to savor a leisurely lunch while absorbing the stunning views of the Louvre Palace.

Champs-Élysées: The Avenue of Glamour. Continue your journey with a stroll down the renowned Champs-Élysées. This iconic avenue exudes glamour and luxury, lined with high-end boutiques, chic cafes, and grand theaters. Window-shop at luxury brands, sip coffee at a quaint terrace, and immerse yourself in the Parisian lifestyle as you take in the avenue's elegant atmosphere. Fantastic food along the way with the Arc the triumph on one and end and Place de la Concorde on the other.

Paris, a city that seamlessly blends history, art, and sporting legacy, is a captivating destination that beckons visitors with its allure. From the allure of the French Open at Roland Garros to the beauty of the Seine River cruises, and the spiritual tranquility of Basilica St. Coixare, the City of Light is a treasure trove of experiences waiting to be explored. Discover the magic of Paris and immerse yourself in its timeless charm, where each corner reveals a piece of its storied past and vibrant present.
